BEFORE AND AFTER: DINING CHAIR UPDATE!
MY DINING CHAIRS WERE SHOWING SOME AGE....NOT THAT YOU CAN TELL FROM THE PICTURE BELOW, BUT UP CLOSE THERE WERE LOTS OF DINGS, SCRATCHES, AND THE SEATS COULD USE A NEW LIFE!
WHEN VISITING THE QUADRILLE SHOWROOM AT THE DC DESIGN CENTER, THERE WAS A CHAIR FULLY UPHOLSTERED IN A FABULOUS BLUE AND WHITE-AND NOT JUST ANY BLUE....BUT THE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT BLUE! I BROUGHT HOME A SAMPLE AND IT FOUND A HOME INSTANTLY!
AND LIKE BEFORE, I HAD IT LAMINATED-A MUST IN MY HOUSEHOLD!
AND THE BLUE IS PEFECT WITH THE NEIGHBORING MADELINE WEINRIB RUG :-)

this cute kid's room has transitioned from little boy to big boy! with 4th grade right around the corner, we needed to figure out how to best accommodate his needs!
we needed a durable and forgiving rug. these wide blue stripes provided the perfect look...and it can take a beating!
and a custom headboard (with a forgiving fabric)....perfect!!! we used the same fabric for a tailored bedskirt to match!
we had this desk made out of wood reclaimed from an old warehouse...and we love versatile furniture...the desk can function as a console too!

LOVE this bedside table....a pair of them frame out the bed so handsomely. and mom is thrilled to have a home for all the books!
we actually had the window treatments made a few years ago.....this fabric works perfectly in the updated space!!
and the lighting...LOVE (and great for reading!)!!! we chose nailheads to match.

SCHOOLS STARTS NEXT WEEK, GEORGIA FOOTBALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, AND I HAVE WARM INTERIORS ON THE BRAIN......STONE, WOOD, MORE PATTERNS, COZY LOUNGE AREAS........IM READY....THESE PICS HAVE ME MOTIVATED!
